New Designer Tennis Fashion by Stella McCartney Will Make You Look and Feel Like a Million Dollars
Sometimes it seems like forever for new adidas by Stella McCartney tennis apparel to arrive on the online shelves as Stella is less prolific than other tennis apparel designers. But quality is better than quantity so the the wait is normally worth it.
With the arrival of the 2013 Spring season tennis gear, there's been a significant merger of Stella's output with the adidas Barricade women's apparel range. It looks like there's even been some color coordination of the Barricade and Adizero lines with yellow and white predominating.
As with all collaborations between adidas and Stella McCartney essential performance features seem to integrate perfectly with the overall style - the decorative seaming works well with the cooling transparent mesh paneling laid over the stretch jersey fabric.
The built-in bra and integral undershorts of the skirts save you from worrying too much about accessories and extra expense, always welcome when buying designer tennis clothing.
It's hard to gauge how an outfit looks without seeing someone in it, but Caroline Wozniacki's been wearing the dress in Australia and it looks to be one of her best.
I particularly like the Performance tennis tank (right) and the Stella Essentials Gilet (below). You're not going to see women's tennis apparel as decorative and intricately designed as this on court any time soon - unless it's another Stella outfit of course!

Since Caroline first joined forces with adidas By Stella McCartney, Stella's been creating proper tennis bags, not just sports bags. She's also been exploring every shade of gray you could think of recently, but this cute tennis bag (left) has a welcome shot of vivid cobalt blue color.
There's pockets inside and out for anything you need to store, and one big compartment for your tennis racquets, making it all you'd ever want in a designer tennis bag.
The product description says it's got a leather base, but I can't believe Stella would countenance that, considering her well publicised views on animal welfare.
