WTA Rankings For The Top 32 Players (Showing Their Tennis Gear) - Updated Weekly

Keep up with the latest WTA ranking of your favorite player in the singles top 32, ie the players likely to get a seeding in the Slams. Also keep right up to date with any changes in their tennis apparel, tennis shoes and tennis racquets as this page will reflect any changes in sponsorship of the top women tennis players.

There's been plenty of movement in positions this week, starting 14th May 2012, following the Madrid tournament where most of the top players took part. Serena Williams looks a class apart from the rest again, having demolished world number 1, Victoria Azarenka in the final. It's beginning to look like Serena's going to be adding a lot more silverware to the Williams trophy cabinet this summer. She rises 3 places to number 6 as she wasn't defending any points from last year.

There's hardly a week goes by without a rise in Angelique Kerber's ranking, and this week is no exception. She's now the highest ranked German at number 11 and set to join the elite in the top 10.

Maria Kirilenko also rises 3 places to a career best of 16. With Caroline Wozniacki dropping again to number 8, I suspect Maria's got her sights set on getting her old job back with adidas and Stella McCartney which she lost because she wasn't ranked high enough.

Thanks to the WTA Tour and Tennis Express websites for most of the information contained below, and where the 'facts' didn't seem to match reality, I'd like to take some credit for poring over recent photos of the WTA stars to try to work out what they were indeed wearing!
